How well do you
Know your TGs?

Triglycerides (TGs) are an important type of fat in your blood that your body uses to store energy.

But what happens when your TG levels get too high?

EXPLORE WHAT YOUR TG LEVELS COULD MEAN

TGs and your overall health

Very high TGs, or what your doctor may refer to as severe hypertriglyceridemia, are when TG levels are 500 mg/dL or above and often go hand in hand with conditions like diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, and insulin resistance. With very high TGs, there is an increased risk for serious health problems, including pancreatitis and heart disease. Keeping your TGs at a healthy level can go a long way in supporting your overall health.
